The outside detailing matches all of our maple doors [except Shakers and mitered], making them a good choice when you need short drawer fronts. It's precision crafted from solid northern maple 13/16 thick. Please see the images above for exact profiles. Sanded to a 220 grit at the factory and ready for finishing right out of the box. Maple cabinetry is often painted, though it can be stained quite beautifully. These are true stain-grade doors, with no knots or blemishes. Home handymen can easily paint maple, following the instructions included with every order. Because of its tight grain, staining maple requires some skill and use of a wood conditioner. If you'd like your maple drawer fronts stained, consider hiring a professional to finish them for you, unless you're experienced with wood finishing.
