BEING GREEDY

In “Being Greedy”, C. Sweets introduces you to three friends who will take you for a wild walk in their shoes. They show you how they survived the streets of the South Side of Chicago and everything else in their path. Experiencing death, hurt, and betrayal, the three friends learn early on that the game of life is not always fair. Hardships, heartaches, and abandonment seem all too familiar to them. In spite of the bad situations, they rise up and learn how quickly they can gain money and status by using what they have.You’ll meet Jamilla (China), Armagrettia (Greedy), and Antoinette (Secret), you will embark on a journey where you will laugh at their personalities and cry as they are all stripped of their innocence. They will tell the tale of how they try to play the game with the aim of gaining status and better living situations, but greed ultimately becomes their driving force. While playing the game, breaking the rules, and cheating, all are faced with the consequences of being greedy. In the end, they will all wonder if it was worth it.
