Life lessons from father to son are beautifully exemplified in the prose as dad Sam teaches son Kade everything he needs to know to survive and thrive. Memorable characters drift in and out with vibrant and realistic dialogue throughout, but the heart of this quick, charming read is the relationship between the two main characters. It'll leave you wanting more, you'll also be casting the movie version in your head while you read.
