About the Author Maureen Brindle is a poet and scriptwriter, born in the United Kingdom. The world is her inspiration. She is a member of the Poetry Society, London and has contributed poetry to the R.S.P.B Poetry Trail. Her poetry has been published in the R.A.F. & Allied Forces Chapel, St Clement Danes, London, Bi-annual Magazine. Maureen Brindle was the Official Poet of H. H. Princess Maria Amor's Global Officials of Dignity Awards at the United Nations New York 2014. Maureen was honoured to receive a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition from the United States of America Congress. Maureen's poem Amour is included in her book Beloved Isles, inspired by H.H. Princess Maria Amour's We Care for Humanity's work. Maureen Brindle reads at charity functions and on the radio. Maureen Brindle donates poems to The Naked Goddess Anthology by Jeannette Slavinski in support of Help for Heroes and Wounded Warriors Project and edits additions to The Naked Goddess Anthology.
