NCAA Notre Dame Fighting Irish Lou Holtz Play like a Champion Today Photograph, 8x10-Inch

Lou Holtz back in 1986 decided that his Notre Dame football players needed a bit of inspiration as they took to the field. Holtz had a sign crafted that read Play Like a Champion Today. The sign bright gold with dark blue lettering was positioned above a stairway outside the Notre Dame locker room and beneath another larger sign listing all of the Fighting Irish's national championships. And soon a tradition emerged: players tapped the Play Like a Champion Today sign for luck on the way to the field. Lou Holtz has hand signed this 8x10 photograph of the Play Like A Champion Sign. A Steiner Sports Certificate of Authenticity is included.
