Original British WWII P-37 Water Bottle Set with Desert Carry Strap Dated 1944

Original Item: These are Virtually Unissued British P-1937 Khaki Webbing "Envelope" Water bottle Carriers each containing an enameled British Military Issue water bottle and suspended with an unissued over-the-shoulder desert tan carry strap. Every carry strap is marked "BAGCRAFT LTD. 1944". In excellent condition, these carry straps were pressed into service for D-Day having been an un-canceled order for the North African desert campaign which ended in 1943 with the invasion of Italy. Very unusual combination issued at a time when the world hung in the balance and everything was utilized.
