Nogent Polypropylene Handled Stainless Steel Oyster Knife

★★★3.0·1 ratings

Nogent was founded in 1923 and still manufactures all its products in its own factory in eastern France, near the Champagne region with a tradition of knife making that dates back to the middle ages. All the production steps are quality controlled by long-term, experienced personnel, which guarantees very reliable products designed for a lifetime of use. The hornbeam, slow dried, wood handle come from managed forests in France and is so hard that it is dishwasher safe. Only the color will fade over time. We are probably the only manufacturer to use high carbon beveled steel rather than flat steel. This expensive material gives our blade a very durable sharp edge that is easy to re-sharpen and used for years without damaging. It is not unusual to find Nogent knives that have been passed down several generations within a French family. The Nogent oyster knife has a stubby blades with a sharp tip to easyly penetrate the crack in the shell. The edges are sharpened just enough to slide easily but not too much to resist chiping. pair it with the Marlux rubber oyster mitt (also in the Taste la Différence collection) for a perfect shucking experience.

Doc fetch goes through Layer's Aerospike pull-through cache; cache hit served the row without touching turbopuffer. The similar query asks Layer for nearest neighbors of the stored product vector — queries don't go through the doc cache, so no cache header is set.
