The House That God Built: Stories and Poems by G.G.
Born during the Great Depression, a child during World War II and mother to twelve children during a time when society was demanding "population zero," Annavee shares her 87-year journey, including her childhood, her marriage, and more than 18 years as a widow. Anna ponders spiritual, emotional and philosophical insights through original and accumulated stories, poems, and reflections. Raised by a Catholic mother and a Baptist father, she grew up in Oklahoma, married a nonbeliever, and walked parallel streets for 50 years. Annavee continues to dream and remains optimistic and spiritual with a unique, uplifting perspective. From the Author: I hope the little ones enjoy the stories, and I hope it gives young people pause for reflection before they find themselves saying, "Why didn't someone tell me?" To those who are presently struggling, particularly those in similar circumstances, I hope to give a ray of hope. Most of us see good times and bad times, fun times, and sad times and, if you are going to get soaked, at least enjoy the silver-lining behind those stormy days. Dream your dreams and chase your rainbows, but keep your feet treading the straight and narrow. With God, all things are possible, but even more important to remember is that there is absolutely nothing that He and I can't handle together, and that goes for every one of His children. He really is an AWESOME GOD." “Every saint has a past; every sinner has a future.” (Oscar Wilde.) God is just, all loving and all merciful. The prodigal son and the prodigal daughter can always repent and come home to Jesus. There is no sin bigger than God’s mercy. He will never be outdone in generosity. This is the one lesson I hope to pass on to my family and to anyone whose life I may have touched, especially any I may have hurt or misled. I am still not holy. I have not overcome my impetuous pride, jealousy or self-righteousness. I still have a fiery temper. I still get so angry I could chew nails or throw forks. I purposely will never again have a cast iron skillet in my house, not even a small one. I have repented. I have buried the hatchet, “but I did leave a bit of the handle sticking out” (attributed to Garth Brooks). I want to go home! --Anna Vertrees Epperson Over 500 pages. Doc fetch goes through Layer's Aerospike pull-through cache; cache hit served the row without touching turbopuffer. The similar query re-embeds this product's title with CLIP-text and runs a vector query — queries don't go through the doc cache, so no cache header is set.
