Understanding: Galatians: A Dispensational Commentary on the Epistle of Paul the Apostle to the Galatians (Understanding Paul's Epistles)
Understanding: Galatians is a dispensational commentary on the Epistle of Paul to the Galatians by Gilbert W. Schellin, Pastor of Faith Bible Church in Prattville, Alabama. The idea for the book came from my daughter Lindsey. We were discussing how I had decided a long time ago to leave my wide margin Cambridge King James Bible that I had put all of my notes in from Bible School to her oldest brother Gage. She wanted a way that the "cheater notes", as I call them, could be transferred to all four of my children. She suggested that I write a series of commentaries covering what I had learned in my first Bible School from those notes AND add what I had picked up over the years studying, as well as from my years of preaching the Word of God rightly divided. When I explained to her how much work that would take she was confident that it wouldn't bother her in the least how hard I had to work as long as she and the rest of the kids got copies of the final results. I was obviously relieved to hear that. So the next week I started on Galatians and plan on at least completing all of Paul's Epistles. Enjoy! Dedicated to my four children--Whitney, Gage (in Heaven), Lindsey and Briggs and of course, to my beautiful bride Rhonda Michelle for allowing me to spend so many hours on this. She has ALWAYS supported my passion for getting the Word of God out to hungry Christians and to the lost, before it is eternally too late. I love you Team Schellin!!
