Some photos provoke outrage, not because of their visual impact, but because of the story they tell, such as the scientists on Ross Island, Antarctica, who, despite management threatening them with the loss of their jobs, held a "Naked Demonstration," as they were also prohibited from wearing their cold weather gear.
