My Years As A Chief

"My Years as a Chief" is the third and final book of the series which documents the fifty-year career of a dedicated lawman. It is a chronology of the fifteen years the author spent as a top cop, and includes both a number of fascinating "war stories" as well as a look at what a chief who cares for his troops focuses on. It is rare that a police chief earns a medal of valor for his actions in the field. This one did. The other two books in the series are "Firestone Park: Policing South-Central Los Angeles", and "The Second Seven".
