Dogs Dinners for Beginners

About the Author Joann Bateman has worked as a volunteer for the RSPCA and other rescue organisations since 1980. She has worked with dogs ever since, in various capacities, often using her duties to conduct research and improve her training techniques to further the understanding of dogs in general and breed specifics. In 2003 she and her (ex) husband were asked to help The Dogs Trust (Wales) with an influx of American Bulldogs, by educating owners about their breed characteristics and training. They went on to become trainers for dogs with aggression problems and in doing so developed the 'free feeding' regime detailed in 'Dogs Dinners'. Ms Bateman today is still involved in the dog world, researching the origins of the 'working bulldog', researching the effects of diet on skin conditions and relaxing by painting dog portraits, surrounded by her own canine family, 2 cats and their many four legged visitors.
