Escaping Neverland

★★★★★4.5·24 ratings

From the Back Cover Peter Pan’s time in Neverland is running out. Over the years, he has taken so many flights to Earth that he is nearing adulthood. Now the pirates of Neverland are giving him a choice: join them or face their wrath. But Peter sees a third option—leave Neverland for good. Joining the pirates is obviously out of the question, but Peter is reluctant to abandon the Lost Boys. They need someone to care for them and protect them from the dangers of Neverland. So after a narrow escape from the pirates—who are becoming increasingly persistent—Peter flees to Earth, where he hopes to find someone to take his place as their leader and protector. Modern Londoner Jane seems like a perfect replacement. She’s witty, tough, and good with children. He tricks her into going with him to Neverland, where he hopes she will want to stay so he can leave. But as Peter introduces her to Neverland, he discovers that losing her is almost as unbearable as becoming a pirate. As the situation with the pirates escalates, Peter is forced to decide whether to stay in Neverland forever or go back to Earth and lose the girl he has fallen in love with.

Doc fetch goes through Layer's Aerospike pull-through cache; cache hit served the row without touching turbopuffer. The similar query asks Layer for nearest neighbors of the stored product vector — queries don't go through the doc cache, so no cache header is set.
