Pictures of design variations, an icon establishing skill level, and template shapes to be enlarged are positioned in the margins. Beginners may need additional help with fabric selection and to determine the amount of fabric to buy, but this is otherwise a great starter guide; and the gorgeous, full-color photos will entice even some stitchers who already know the craft well.
